When I started out in my coaching business, I thought I was a great writer. I was an English major, then an English teacher, then a licensed attorney. As a litigator, I wrote persuasive legal briefs for a living! 

So imagine my surprise when I put up my website and NOTHING HAPPENED.

No clicks, no sales, no queries. For months. Seriously, I made $50 my whole first year in business (it's kind of a stretch to even call it a business if you're not making money)! 

My second year in business wasn't much better. I made just under $2500. I couldn't figure out where I was going wrong. I had invested more than $25k in private coaching, group programs, and a beautiful website, but something was off.

Copywriting was one thing I had never put much thought or effort into - I really thought I had that figured out already.

But without consistent leads or sales, I was on the verge of completely giving up on my business. So I figured I'd give copywriting a shot.
